Best IPTV US on Roku

Roku is the most locked-down of the TV platforms, so there are two routes: one proper player from the Channel Store, or casting from your phone.

Add IBO Player Pro

  1. 1.In the Roku Channel Store, search IBO Player Pro and add it to the Roku.
  2. 2.Launch it and open the Account section. Note the MAC address and Device Key on screen.
  3. 3.From a phone or a computer, open iboproapp.com, go to Manage Playlists, and log in using that MAC address and Device Key.
  4. 4.Pick Add XC Playlist, give the playlist any name, and fill in the server, username and password from your WhatsApp message.
  5. 5.On the Roku, close and reopen the app, then select the playlist you added.
Good to know. The app is free for seven days. After that it is a one-time payment on iboproapp.com using the same MAC address and Device Key. The 12-month plan includes a year of it.

Or cast from a phone

  1. 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android or iOS phone.
  2. 2.Open its menu, choose IPTV, and add your playlist address.
  3. 3.Tap the cast icon and pick your Roku. Both need to be on the same Wi-Fi.

Roku limits which apps can exist on it, so the choice is narrow. Samsung and LG TVs are a little more open, and a Firestick gets you every player we recommend for the price of a pizza. Worth seeing the full channel list before you set up.
