A seven-day program guide, built in.

The guide fills itself in the first time you sign in. What is on now, what is on next, the rest of the week, and a jump straight to the channel from the listing.

What is in it

A seven-day electronic guide comes with every plan and covers the live channels. The player pulls it in the first time you sign in and keeps it current by itself.

It shows what is on right now, what follows, and the rest of the week, and you jump to a channel from the listing rather than scrolling through hundreds.

Catch-up

Most live channels support catch-up: scroll back in the guide and play something that has already aired, within the window each broadcaster allows.

Recording

TiviMate can record a program from the listing to a USB stick or to the box's own storage, ready for whenever you get home.

Getting the clock right

The guide follows the device clock, so the times match wherever you are. Moved states or switched devices? Check that the device time zone and the player's guide offset both say where you actually are.

  • Set the device time zone to Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific, whichever you are in.
  • In TiviMate or IBO Player, keep the guide time-shift at zero unless you have a reason to move it.
  • On a MAG or Formuler box, set the time server to us.pool.ntp.org.
