Best IPTV US on a MAG box

A MAG box does not use a username and password. It is tied to its own MAC address, so we register that first, and only then does the portal fill up.

Send us the MAC address

It is printed on the sticker underneath the box, and shown under System Settings. It looks like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. Nothing loads until it is registered, so do this before anything else.

Open the portal settings

  1. 1.Once the box has booted, open Settings, or press the SETUP or SET key on the remote.
  2. 2.Go to System Settings, then Servers, then Portals.

Enter the portal address

  1. 1.In Portal 1 Name, type any name.
  2. 2.In Portal 1 URL, enter the portal address from your order.
  3. 3.Press OK to save.

Set the time server and restart

  1. 1.Still in System Settings, open the time or NTP section.
  2. 2.Enter us.pool.ntp.org, or pool.ntp.org outside North America.
  3. 3.Exit the settings twice, then choose Restart Portal.
Good to know. Skipping the time server is the most common reason a MAG box shows an empty guide. The box needs the right time to line programs up with channels.

MAG boxes are activated by MAC, which is why the address matters so much. Formuler boxes work the same way through MYTV Online, and BuzzTV boxes use a near-identical portal setup. Check the full channel list before buying any hardware.
